Kausalya Mahadevan

My research is at the intersection of nonlinear solid mechanics, engineered knit textiles, and soft wearable devices. I develop, characterize, and functionalize knit materials with unique mechanical properties, such as multistability and auxeticity.

I have PhD from Harvard University in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering, an MSc from ETH Zurich in Mechanical Engineering, and BA in Applied Math from Harvard University.
